Fort Walton Beach is in Okaloosa County in northwest Florida along the Gulf of Mexico. Fort Walton Beach is well known for its long strips of beautiful beaches for enjoying the water and white sand.
The main roadway for accessing the Fort Walton Beach and its beaches is the Miracle Strip Parkway (Highway 98). On the east, the parkway connects from Okaloosa Island, goes over the Santa Rosa Sound on the Brooks Bridge, and then heads west to Mary Esther, Navarre, Gulf Breeze, and Pensacola.
